Biography:

  • In 1990 graduated from Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University, majoring in Spanish language and literature. 
  • From 1990 to 2000 worked as Spanish and English interpreter at enterprises and companies in Odesa.
  • Since 2000 has worked at the Foreign Languages Department of Odesa Polytechnic National University.
  • In 2018 defended the thesis “Formation and preservation of the cultural identity of the Ukrainian diaspora in modern Spain” (speciality 26.00.01 – Theory and history of culture).
  • In 2016-2017 received advanced training at Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain.
  • In 2021 was awarded the academic title of associate professor of the Foreign Languages Department.
  • Since 2023 has worked as an associate professor at the Chair of Spanish Philology.

Biography:

  • In 1981 she graduated from Odesa I.I.Mechnikov National university with specialization in Spanish language and literature and started her work as a higher education teacher at the Department of Spanish Philology.
  • In 1983 she started her postgraduate studies and in 1988 she defended her thesis on: «Functional-semantic microfield of hypothetical modality in Spanish language» (scientific specialty 10.02.05 – romance languages).
  • In 1990 she received the academic title of associate professor and continued her work at the Spanish department, but already as an assistant professor and also periodically as a Head of Chair of the Spanish department.
  • In 1992 she studied Italian in the Perugia University (Italy).
  • In 2019 she taught Spanish at the Faculty of Philology at the Granada University (Spain).
  • In the period from 1995 to 2019 she worked as manager and interpreter of Spanish, Italian and English languages at Odesa' enterprises and companies.

  • In 2018, defended her PhD thesis on ‘Formation of Cultural Competence of Bachelors of Romance Philology in the Process of Professional Training’ (speciality 13.00.04 - Theory and Methods of Professional Education) at the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State University.
  • Since 2018, has been an examiner of the SIELE international exam in Odesa.
  • Since 2019, has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the Congress on Education and Innovation (Granada, Spain).
  • From 2023 to the present, has been combining her teaching activities at the Odessa National University named after I. I. Mechnikov with work at the Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic).

  • In 1997-2000 she taught Spanish and she graduated from the Arizona State University (USA) with a Master’s degree in Philology (Spanish Language and Literature).
  • Since 2001 she has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Spanish Philology.
  • In 2002-2003 she studied at the Diplomatic Academy (Madrid, Spain) and at the Complutense University (Madrid, Spain) and she received a Master's degree in International Relations.
  • Since 2009 she is a certified DELE examiner.
  • In 2016 she defended her thesis on “Organization of research activities of future philology teachers at universities in Spain” (specialty “13.00.04 - Theory and Methodology of Professional Education”) at the G.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.
