Biography:

• 1977 鈥� graduated from Odessa I.I. Mechnikov State University by
  specialty Philologist - Germanist. Lecturer.
• 1979 鈥� 1984 鈥� laboratory assistant of English Lexicology and Stylistics Department of Odessa I.I. Mechnikov State University.
• 1984 鈥� defended Candidate of Sciences( PhD) in Philology Thesis on "Word in language and speech"(Specialty 10.02.04 鈥� Germanic languages) at Odessa I.I. Mechnikov State University.
• 1990 鈥� academic rank of Docent (Associate Professor) was conferred.
• 1984 鈥� 1995 鈥� Associate Professor of Foreign Languages Department of Odessa Institute of Marine Engineers.
• 1995 鈥� 1998 鈥� Associate Professor of English Grammar Department of Odessa I I. Mechnikov National University.
• 1995 鈥� 2010 鈥� Sub-dean (Student Affairs) of Romance-Germanic Philology Faculty.

College as the structural subdivision of Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University was formed by the order of rector of 20.12.1996 鈩� 1610-18 and by the order of Ministry education and science of Ukraine 鈩�2 of 18.06.1998.

Regional college of enterprise and social work was renamed by the order of Ministry education and science, youth and sports of Ukraine 鈩� 1247 of 06.11.2012, 鈩� 1277 of 16.10.2020

College is attended by 250 students of the day form of education, 90 of them learn against the contract, 160 - at the state order places.

Training of junior baccalaureate at the college is conducted in the following specialties:

• Accounting
• Finance and credit
• Applied mathematics
• Social work.

The 9th and 11th classes graduates start in the college.

Those college graduates who desire to continue education at the university, according to the rules, established by entrance examination committee of Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University, are taken in the first year (with the reduced to 2 years apprenticeship) to get their base higher education, qualification level of baccalaureate in appropriate direction.

Instruction system allows to finish university as soon as 4 years after graduating from school and to obtain not one, but two diplomas - junior baccalaureate鈥檚 and baccalaureate鈥檚.

New 鈥減upil- student鈥� status contributes to pupils maturing. Complex education brings specific changes into the structure of a pupil- student鈥檚 personality:

• Getting the student ticket of Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University at the age of 15 considerably increases self responsibility;
• The interest rises in professional knowledge acquisition;
• Realization of the prospect to reach economic independence early, ensures early social maturity;
• The accelerated development of personality prevents formation of asocial orientations.

These factors ensure effective social adaptation of personality and rises competitive ability of specialists in the labor market.

Education process at the college is ensured by regular instructors of Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University. Scientific Library of Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University, computer classes, stadium and gymnasium are at collegians disposal.
